My hair in braids/semi dreads....

I got my hiar braided in Ghana about a month or so ago ( yes it is all mine ) thought I would post some pics of how it looks as i rather lik eit at the moment.

one piees of hair kept coming undone so knotted it, so I guess this is the begining of my dreadlock journey

 

Dreads?..I would never get dreads even if I am black..lol..to each his own..(doon)

 

and I would never have weave or extentions in my hair. but yes each to their own.

 

Well, you don't need them, and I wasn't trying to offend you so, don't come at me like that..

 

Also, I love my extension briads, they are cute in MY hair..I just said I wouldn't get dreads..sheesh!...

So pretty, I love the lighting. Hey Arlia weren't you letting your hair naturally kinda dread before you got the braids or am I thinking of someone else?

 

yup I was, but it became a complete birds nest
that was almost a year ago now though.
I hadto cut some of it out ( hense why the HAIR AT THE FRONT IS SHORTER)
the braids are helping to start the roots though, and getting my hair nice and corse.

and dont worry about the dread/extentions convo, i tihnk you just missunderstood me thats all, but also, sorry if you took offense, there was non taken on my part

Are your eyes blue? These pics don't show that off. I think the pics at your blog (whatever that link is) do a better job of showing them off. Just giving you my opinion!

Hi Arlia - Have never had dreads, but they are a cool look. Like the first pic best, then the third. Yours have their own cool look. Hope you like them.
