I was thinking exactly the same thing.

    God bless my ass.

(and to stay true to the thread... yes, Spe. 11th was a terrible sad day... I personally got over it, and if you lost no friends or relatives there, I do think that you should get over it as well... la-la-la-la-life goes on)

WTC was not knocked down with a plane. That's for sure. I just can say I'm sorry for the people that died there...

Yes, we all know that it was a spaceship... Those damn idiots from area 51 should have never allowed that bloody janitor to enter the bloody saucer.

It's a sad day indeed. But I think people should get over their emotions, wake up, and start asking some real questions about this tragedy and why it happened. Who is truly to blame, and who benefits from it?

    That's my opinion.

My guess would be the damn assholes who ran their planes into the WTC and whoever their leader was that told them to do it.

Pressed Rat, I honestly would like your opinion on something. You don't have to write it here, pm me if you prefer.

Here is my question: You live in America right? Who do you want to be President? I get the impression you want Kerry BUT I could be wrong and if I am, I am sorry for misunderstanding and if you don't want to tell me I am sorry for bein' nosy.

Here's my next question: Do you feel that Kerry would do a better job with stoppin' these terrorist and if so how? I am really interested in hearing your opinion if you'd offer it to me.

Yesterday, I spent a few minutes in silence and prayed for all of the families that lost loved ones because of this tragety. Even though I do not know anyone who died due to 9/11, it has defiently changed me in the way how I look at life.............

    May God Bless You All!

pseudo conservatives require strong enimies to make excuses
    for their own rapacity
that is why they do everything in their power to create them

what kind of idiologies they pay lip service to has absolutely
    nothing to do with it

may ALL beings be free from suffering
may all beings be free from the CAUSES of suffering

    power to the PEACEFUL

    Yes, I live in America.

I am a fan of neither Kerry or Bush, but I think the Bush Administration has more than proven how cold-blooded and incompetent they are. Bush and Kerry both support the same interests, and they really don't represent average Americans. I certainly don't expect Kerry to end US imperial action overseas if elected. So as far as Bush and Kerry are concerned, I don't have a favorable opinion of either of them.

But the Bush Administration must go!

I often vote for third-party candidates, but in this election I am still deciding on if I am even going to vote. If I do vote, it will be for either Ralph Nader, or Michael Badnarik, who is the Libertarian Party nominee. Sure, these two do not stand a chance of being elected, but it's a way to protest against this two-party duopoly that we live under in this country, which doesn't leave Americans with much of a choice at all, especially when both parties are so much alike.

No, I don't really think Kerry would do a better job with preventing terrorism. But let's not forget that the worst terrorist attack in US history occured under George W. Bush, so I find it kind of ironic that so many people are looking to the Bush Administration for protection.

This whole terrorist threat, regardless of what happened on 9/11 - or what most people believe happened - is very overhyped and has been politicized to no end. And it's being used to instill fear into people.

Personally, I don't worry about terrorism. I am more concerned about the loss of civil liberties in this country, which are being lost in the name of false security and the prevention of terrorism.
