My whole family was in asheville and we were going to some big concert at the civic center. I left the concert almost at the end but before everyone else and started walking down the road. It was raining really hard and my uncle james and Aunt sharon pulled up beside me in a pick-up tuck and asked if I wanted a ride. I said sure. So I got in and jimmy took off. He was flying down a curvy mountian interstate in a torrential downpour. all of the sudden we hit the inside divider cause jimmy lost control around a turn and there is a truck stoppoed in the left shoulder. and as we are coming up to the truck I start to realize that we cant stop and we are going to hit this stopped truck at like 60 mph. Right before we hit the truck I remember thinking "holy shit I am going to die now" No screaming or anything. When we hit the truck my heart skipped a beat in real life and I woke up breathing really heavy and shaking. The reason I was so freaked out is everything seemed real. I didnt know I was dreaming. I have never actually died in a dream before. It's a wierd feeling looking at your death.
Torrential downpours, especially if the atmosphere is grey, dark, gloomy, portends a period of very deep depression. Your driving down the hill portends that it will be a long journey, that while it may not all be of your making you will still be powerless to do anything about it. The experience may scar you for life, something inside you may die and you should be stonger for it. You just have to be careful not to blame others, to hold grudges, to take it out on new people. In otherwords, you have to make sure that you are a better you, instead of a worse you, when you come out of it. This could signify just about anything, a loss of job, a loss of a loved one, bankruptcy, drugs, etc. Now that you know, what are you going to do about it? When it starts to happen, as you become despondent, remember that everything goes in cycles and that this deep depression will eventually end. But it also means that you have to now be more aware, that you have to resist temptation and the pressure of peers to indulge in things which your intuition, your conscience, your dreams warn you about. Choose your friends wisely, be always mindful of your surroundings, see where an event could lead and don't take the road presented when you see it for what it is.
if you die in your dream, it is a sign for a big change in your life. As White Feather has said, something in your inside may die but its gonna be replaced soon! Your on death never means that you really have to die! And don't worry too much about that it seemed so real to you, it was an exciting dream and maybe thats the reason why it felt so real.
hi dgydys90 i just want to add expalanation about your death dream!!!!! To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life. death in dream not really means of physical death because it was usually a new beginning, new birth, new changing that will near to come in your life, you don't have to fear your own physical death because in truth!!! death in dreams are a means of new spiritual birth.....
I actually came here to post because I had almost the same exact dream. I was with my mom and my sister and we were on a mountain with winding roads. It was raining out and as we were driving up a flood of water came down the mountain and when we hit it the car lost control and went off the side and we were flipping and then I woke up. And it made me realize that when you are there in your final moments of life you wont have time to say everything youve wanted to so dont wait.
