I am such a nerd, but I wanna be cool for once in my life, how can i be cool?

good idea watch some funny movies...learn some good jokes... and carry yourself right i mean keep a laid back attitude and when you get with a bunch of people just relax...learn you some good pickup lines for the women

 

Dud being yourself is the coolest thing you can be. I just started really being myself in the last couple years and look at me now....hahaha. What do you mean you want to be cool? Do you mean you want to be accepted by others? Because before people are really going to like you you have to like yourself. I know that sounds like a fortune cookie but its the truth. You just got to put your self out there and if someone doesn't like you then brush it off. I mean I'm sure you have friends even if its a few...I mean think of it like this your not ok I'm not ok but its ok you know what I mean man.

 

Everyones looking for the same thing.

 

Just be yourself. Eventually you will find someone. And if someone doesnt like you who cares, you shouldnt do things that you dont normally do just to make people like you. If no one likes you for you then dont even give them the time of day. Give it time.

 

Hey man... forget all that, forget pick-up lines, forget storing up a memory bank of funny lines. That's you playing a part man. I'm sure there are plenty of things you're interested in, music? movies? an instrument? books? poetry? computer games? Find some like minded people around you, get to know 'em, and above everything else be yourself bro. Never compromise to fall into fads and popularity contests, stand up for what you believe in and aim the highest you can for whatever you wish to do with your life. Women respect pride and self confidence as well, so long as those arent used wrongly.

If you aren't satisfied, think about the person you want to be and become that. It's mostly a matter of habit.

 

All the advise I can offer is to just be yourself. If you're a "nerd," be proud of it. But if it really bothers you, then I suggest you start spying on the popular kids in your school
