What has been the highlight of your day so far? Are you looking forward to anything later? I’m looking forward to the gym. I really need to get some anger and frustration out.
http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=259010 <---This thread. And the fact that I didn't have to wake up until I felt good and ready, and the fact that Daniel actually got up BEFORE me (that has happened like 3 times in our entire relationship, lol), and that I've been sitting around, munching on various things...Ah, what a good day off.
Highlight of my day? Hm...that little slice of peace between checking out new medical insurance policies and getting an oil change. lol. Real fun day for me.
Mm, the highlight of my day was when I was in my new History class. My teacher was talking about Monty Python and the Holy Grail and nobody knew what it was. I was laughing so obnoxiously. He was trying to tell them the part about the bridge, when Terry Gilliam asks the party three questions each. I kept mumbling answers as he was telling the story. He said, "What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?", and I said, "African or European?" and the kid next to me said, "What!?" Ah, very droll. It made my day. I'm looking forward to my second day of school tomorrow, because I'm sure a dork.
Same here. I spent $400 and I'm still not done. The highlight of my day was probably going to a pretty spot and smoking a very nice cigarette.
well, i finally managed to amuse myself by posting some silly notes on f------k. but those are only available to my friends. i don't know why i don't blog here, since this is where my people are, but it seems too personal. i have a hardass image to maintain.
Smoking with Jess and some other people at her house... taking a couple ativans..... two other friends come over with a "treat" .... left and im sitting here feeling great... listened to radiohead first now floyd. perfect wednesday... i keep saying that but its true. I had no money or nothing when i woke up ... now im about a pack a bowl that was left for me (one of a few).....
at work, I have a tough student ... her and I talked for awhile and she asked me lots of questions and listened to my answers so that made me happy cause she doesnt realize her potential and I cant wait to teach her a few things!
That's so awesome, Jess. My mom does a similar job and loves working with the kids. I actually think that is something I might consider doing someday- I think I'd like it.
