OK wtf.. lol. I just realized. I was reading the DEA's website about weed, and it says something along the lines of: Cannabis Sativa is what teens smoke to get their high. Or something like that. and they say NOTHING of Cannabis Indica. And yet.... Just about every single commercial that i've seen that try to get people not to smoke show and say that kids are stuck to the couch lazy all day... And it's Indica that does that to you. Sativa makes you all uppy and such... IDK, i'm just kinda like wtf, haha. What do you guys think. Oh.. and btw, i'm stoned, so I may be way off or something, but i'm pretty sure I got this down haha.
all cannabis whether ditch weed or high quality, is technically and legally called cannabis sativa.....but if you want to get technical there is cannabis sativa, indica, ruderalis, and afghanica.
Really? I was under the impression that marijuana was under the genus Cannabis... not Cannabis Sativa. Then, to be more specific the three different species; sativa, indica, and ruderalis.
Weed is weed is weed to me. But yeah.....I've thought about naming my first daughter Sativa. lol that's be a purdy name.
Well said green! We are living in a world where the law's on marijuana are old law's. I dont believe that politicians and gouvernments know fuck all about weed. After all theyve never carried out a study on recreational pot users! Ive just remembered Fear and Loathing's "know your dope fiend - his eyes will be blood shot with inner tension and his trousers encrusted with semen from constantly jacking off" ha ha, these kind of people are still running our countries with simmilar knowledge of what ACTUALLY is a wonder drug. WHY CANT THEY UNDERSTAND THAT ALLOWING PEOPLE TO CULTIVATE MJ FOR THERE OWN USES WOULD CUT GANG CRIME AND ALSO FREE UP THE POLICE TO CONCENTRATE ON MORE SERIOUS MATTERS.
Because the majority (the masses are asses) disagree. Sad but true. Cutivation will most likely be illegal for all but MM patients. Decriminalization is possible for smaller amounts for possession.
No... It's just that. They are well.. Stupid. Like they know next to NOTHING about weed. They can't even add that there are other kinds off weed. They basically just said that weed is "Cannabis Sativa" and NOTHING about strains or indica or anything... Yet they make it seem as all pot makes you slow and stupid, and lazy, but that's not true.
I wouldn't say indica makes you just sit on a couch. I used to sort of think that too, but I just realized that Indica is really really awsome for meditation and just deep thought, while sativa is great for dancing and climbing trees. I guess most teenagers arnt really into the meditation so they just sit and do nothing, but IDK, I have a newfound appreciation for indica. Whats the difference btwn these and ruderalis and the other one mentioned?
^ Im not entirely sure what ruderalis is... I was under the impression that ruderalis is a generally weak strain, which doesn't produce much THC, if any... I'm pretty sure ruderalis is mainly used to cross-breed plants to make them potent, or to control and increase your desired aspects of the strain.. I could be wrong though, I am hardly familiar with ruderalis.
If I remember my psychedelic encyclopedia correctly, ruderalis is a rare strain that has very little thc, and is not really cultivated for consumption. I think that it is also smaller.
