I'm hooked on this australian 'fantasy' writer's series called the Wayfarer Redemption i'm on book three of 6. they are long, but you can read them really fast. this authoritative religious brotherhood has is the 'link' between spirit and flesh (some medieval shit), and the people of the land are a scared race. the trees were all cut down, because they were said to house evil things. there is an acient prophecy that comes to life, and spreads the obvious sentiment that things are not what they seem. the players in this prophecy are called on to acheive there higher identities and serve in the bringing about of a new world where all the races of beings live inhealth and harmony. that is a very general over view, but really these books rock if you are into that. i was very happy to pick them up love to you
