I don't buy costumes online, so I've no idea. I've a friend who's a make up artist so she hooks me up with a cool wig and freaky make up every halloween. Probably some kind of just weird-faced person, something gory likely. That's likely as costumed as I get.

i'm going as a cliche witch. with the boots and the hat and the black dress and probly a long black wig. Me and my friends are all gonna go trick or treating and then go back to my best friend's boyfriend's house and get wasted and eat candy and watch horror movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo fucking excited! It's my fave holiday!!! and my friend is a wiccan, so I'm helping her with some of her rituals. It's her first halloween as a true wiccan, so I wanna help her make it special.

My daughter wants to be Cyndi Lauper, circa 1984. That will be fun. We are scouring thrift shops for crazy 80's clothes. I might have to dress up that way, too. But, I work in a children's library and we can dress up, but only if it has a literary connection and I'm not sure how to tie Cyndi Lauper into children's literature.

Yea for you! It's my dream job, too. I am going back to school to finish my MLS as well. I've done lots of other things that I liked a lot (I was a park ranger, a social worker, a museum tech, a teacher), but this is way more fun. It's a grown up job, but not too grown up. That's the best thing about the children's library--you can act like a kid and it's ok. :tongue: Where else am I going to get paid to do the hokey pokey and read Dr. Seuss?

I make all of mine. This year I am going to be Betty Paige. In years past I have been a devil in a blue dress, amish woman with authentic amish clothes and bonnet, Poison Ivy, an old lady complete with gray wig and polyester slack suit with cardigan and glasses and betty boop. I am going to clean out my closet this year and sell some of my costumes on Ebay, I just have too many. I am also making a pirate costume and playboy bunny costume for friends. I'm looking forward to it this year because last year I had the flu and didn't get to go out If anyone needs any help with costumes I'm always up for helping- I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!! lol
it depends on if I'm still pregnant, lol, my due date is October 28th! If I am, Hubby wants me to be a pumpkin (unoriginal, but he wants to help me dress up my belly to look like a big pumpkin, which I thought was cute). If I have the baby sooner, I really have no idea...probably won't be in much of a mood to dress up, lol, but we are still dressing up our daughter and taking her out to a few houses with me and the baby in the car, lol.
