so my plant is about two and a half months old and i live in idaho so im wondering if i should just wait it out. do you think it should do fine
im more worried about the frost since it gets cold up here sooner then in most places and also i was wondering if you could use like tinfoil around the base of the plant over the soil to help the plant receive even more light.
tin-foil will make "hot spots" and burn your plant. It should be getting plenty of sun light already, in the great outdoors you get plenty enough light. My outdoor plants just started flowering like a week or two ago.....
ok thanks hopefully mine will flower soon. how long does a plant need to be flowering for? can it be anywhere from like 2-6 weeks depending on the plant.
most plants flower in mid-august, but there are strains that or reasons it could be flowering later, nevertheless, you are screwed! It will be fine in the first two weeks of frosts, but when the weather turns bad for good end of October they will stop growing, and are prone to mold in the cold, constantly damp weather. forget about 12/12. 12 refers to the time indoors growers set their lights to. Outside the plants will start showing sex and flowers at about 14-15, right when the days start shorting with a snap, around mid August. Have the males showed themselves?
Man you guys got it hard, my plants have been flowering since before August. SE rules, even with a two month drought and record high temps!
