I was meditating not too long ago, just the other day. And when I finally reached that point in your meditation where your mind is just blank, I get this awesome, tingly feeling. And I just start laughing, not like crazy uncontrollable laughs, but little chuckles here and there, that just throw me off.

    Can anybody explain or relate?

When the mind is quiet, its alot like being in a quiet room.

Little things sound large. A fly buzzing. A distant siren, or in your case, a sensation.

Your cognitive mind picked up on this, found it amusing, and issued a response.(It doesn't have much to do when you meditate and will grab at anything that floats by) The more you laugh, the more you are distracted, the harder you try to recenter yourself. This becomes a comical play in the mind's eye.

All kinds of emotions can bubble to the surface because there is so little resistance to them doing so. It'll pass.
