Great work! I love the color combo you used....especially with the blue variegated yarn. What type(s) or yarn did you use?
Thanks ladies! The general color scheme was by request... As for how I did the brim... it's hard to explain. Same as I do going out in the circle, I don't go by any pattern or equation. I just add stitches where I deem it necessary and drop them the same. I did most of the first layer of the brim through only the outside loop though. I used both sides for the couple stiches closest to both sides, for extra durability. I made the brim with dhc's (the rest of the hat is dc's) and went around the outside of it with two strands, then attached a double-chain for a drawstring. I like the way it came out. Hope Henry likes it as much!
