Ever year I get a bit of mold on some of my plants – I cut off the moldy buds and throw them away. Would it be safe to turn them into oil? Cheers!

I know you can bubblebag them for separation so the oil process for separation should be good as well. Lots of rain up there, eh?

I don’t know what bubble bagging is all about but certainly know about the rain. Its raining today – I was supposed to paint a deck so I got the day off. Cheers!

My man the world will change for you then. Do a google search for bubblebags and you will learn how recycle all your trim and left over material into a high quality hash.

This bubble bag thingy seems interesting. My method of making oil has been to steal the wife’s Mileta coffee filter and a couple of cones – file it up with bud and run isopropyl threw it then cook it up on an electric hot plate.

About 10 Christmases ago when I was an inexperienced oil maker with out an electric hot plate – I tried cooking oil on a propane stove inside a mobile home – something went wrong and before I knew it my garland was a blasé and I could see that we were seconds away from having an uncontrollable fire. Luckily we put it out. It could have been allot worse because around that time I was offered some either(the gas they used to put you to sleep with) from some hill billy and I was told it could be used to make oil. But lucky I had the brains to just say no. I will check this bubble bag thing out thank you.

Well, as someone from BC who knows the process of making oil with iso (since it seems to be almost infamous here) ... do you really think mold would survive 99% iso, and being heated and everything (and if you stick it in the freezer afterward like some people do...)? I can't say for sure, but personally, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Mold is dangerous in the lungs.Try making bubble hash.

O and next time you should consider using more fans, a dehumidifer, whatever it takes to lower the humidity

If you're trying to make oil from your moldy weed, the only real safe way to do it is an ethanol or iso extraction.
