I was blessed with the opportunity of moving from grand ole' Texas (where shit doesn't matter) to the hearland of Alabama. Note the sarcasm! I'm not dissing this state at all but it is really different from my old home. Not to mention, I first lived in Montgomery when I moved here luckily I've moved up to Birmingham and soon next year Tuscaloosa. Anyways gotta go. Peace out... Bethany Oh and iIf ya wanna chat pm me

auburn's a cool towm, or i should say, the only cool town in al. good music there. im stuck in the lowcountry of the carolinas myself. boring and backwards, very entertaining though.
Never been up to north Alabama, just chilling down here in Mobile. At least the beach is nearby, not much else I can say for the place.
Im fond of Gulf shores myself.......going to move down on Ft morgan one of these days. Auburn IS a cool town but there are a few more...its like anywhere else depends on what kind of folks you run into . Montavallo can be cool....Tuscaloosa can be cool...parts of Bham are fun but it depends on who ya know. I grew up here off and on and its easy for a hippie/biker type such as myself to blend in with the redneck river rats....Theres still shine brewing in them there hills and nice pretty green plants too.... I have traveled to every state but washington and hawaii and found some cool stuff in odd places...shipensburg P.A. was a blast..go figure. I am a bit strange on what I like.. I loved upstate NY and hated NYC ....must be the country boy in me. anyone from bama want to chat my yahoo id is mingodrake or dougstarot and yes I'm a tarot reader also... any rainbow family hippie types from bama out there?

I can't believe a lot of people had to move to Alabama from Texas and know the change that comes with this move.
Im from Tuscaloosa,Alabama,but im actually working in Pasadena,Texas.it is alot different from Al.Alabama isnt that that bad you just have to meet the right people.I know lots of hippies in t~town and just other cool people that are easy to get along with.

Mobile Alabama. To tell the the truth, I absolutely love most everything about Alabama....except for the harsher laws on weed than say...california where my mom lives. And the weed economy is extremely fucked up here when it comes to headies.
