Somebody help me with this scary dream?

So I don't remember all the details of the dream but I'll try to remember everything. In the dream I was dating some guy and apparently he was in a gang and all of his friends were as well. There was some gang war going on and the police were out trying to calm everybody down. I'm sitting at these picnic tables with a bunch of girls and we are talking about this big gang war. All of a sudden people start shooting all around us. We dive underneath the table and I can't stop screaming and I just keep screaming...no breath nothing I just can't stop.

Then somehow I'm in this house with some crazy lady who has held everybody hostage. I try to escape by breaking through a glass window. She grabs my legs but I am able to kick her off of me and I run outside. There is a random shed in her backyard so I hide in there and she runs after me and starts shooting into the shed all over in hopes of hitting me. She never does and leaves. I run out of the shed and I get to my cousins house. She tells me we "have to go to my friends house". Its her friends moms house.

We get to the house and when I get there I know something weird is going to happen. Lindsay (my cousin) tells me that they will probably try to kill me when I sleep but I need to stay there to be "initiated". I remember looking into the parents bedroom and the mom having a guitar case and a guitar sitting out and candles everywhere and in the dream I said there is no way she can be a murderer...murderers dont play guitar and don't light candles. I try to leave the house and my cousin and her friends grab me and tell me I have to stay.

Then I woke up...and couldn't go back to sleep for a LONG time. Any ideas what this might mean? Sorry for the super long post but I'm really curious about this dream. I've had some crazy dreams lately but this one really freaked me out.

 

I would venture to say that it may represent work or school, where the gang wars could symbolise the workers against management, the bullets meaning that people get fired. It represents chaos and uncertainty. The shed could then be a different department or another office in town or in another town. You'll join that group, see that you are having a hard time integrating into the group, deciding that it isn't for you because their may too much bullshit going on. But someone who sees something in you will convince you to stay.

By the same token, it could be something as simple as selling a house and moving away, with the ensuing chaos that it causes to families.
