what does the term "torch lighter" encompass? i'm assuming that a butane lighter is best exemplified by an everyday cigarette lighter... so where could i find a "torch lighter" that will release the salvinorum A from my extract most effectively?
ya i don't know why people say to use a torch lighter because when i used a normal lighter it worked just as good.
A torch lighter is a lighter with a wind proof flame, some people call it a tourch lighter because the flame resembles a little blowtourch flame, you can buy thenm any where you can buy normal lighters usually, just go around to a few shops and check, ask if they have windproof lighters. They usually look something like this, except the flame can be blue or yellow or green either. http://www.wholesaleol.com/products/product_photos/small_6510.jpg
actually a butane lighter is a torch lighter. a normal cigarette lighter uses lighter fluid. torch lighters use butane, this alows the flame to be hotter and more concentrated. its like a little torch, or a jet engine almost. ive never really seen the difference between using the torch and using a regular lighter but i guess in the long run in might effect it. one thing its good for is that it will light up the whole bowl like the second you put it to it.
torch lighter may be helpful for smoking a huge bowl of Salvia leaf but I'm not convinced you need it for Salvia extract. torch lighter burns too fast for me.
