Hi, any pro photographers about? I was wondering if you might be kind enough to comment on the following photo? It was taken using a digital camara back just after xmas, the day after we had some snow. I was going up to the local shops, and decided to take a camara with me to get some photos. Anyway, I got a few (from both the night before, and the morning after), which can be found here, but for some reason, the image above just stuck out as being good. Now I'm sure that I've done loads of things wrong (shot into the sun, etc..), but something about this photo looks cool to me.. what about you?
seeing as the sun seems to be the focus of the photo, you should keep it out of the middle of the photo. i kno u couldn't have gotten the effevt you have with out having it in the middle so you'd have to crop it digitally
I'd not say that the sun was the main focus of the image... now sure it's part of the overall effect, but without the rest of the image, it would not look so good, IMO. I just kind of like the whole thing, espically the suns reflection on the ground. Meh, it's not all that important, I mean it was just a random photo, not like it was a planned effect.
you need to fix it man...its too bright i got a headeache:& . You should get jasc paint pro shop its nice ...real good....you can do lotsa stuff with it
Something like this you mean? (PS, I've no idea what I did, I just played with some of the options in Fireworks, and ended up with this... Kinda looks like the same scene, but though a frosted window, don't you think? quite fitting ) (PPS, I used to use PSP all the time, but found that wile it was very good, it lacked some of the power I need. I would love to learn Photoshop, but alas, for the moment at least, that's over my head, so I'm happy with Fireworks)
I think its kinda cool..like the sun is highlighting a place that was built to be busy...but its not. Like nature and manmade had come to an impassive moment.
That's a very interesting way to look at it. I'd not thought of that (the bridge can be fairly active at times).
I just LOVE it. Specially because it is too bright. That's what makes it different. If it was more yellowish, it'd be too normal, you know? That's what I personally think. Very nice pic.
