Hey I'm really interested in your way of life and I have felt so much discontent with normal everyday society. I just feel like you guys have to really be the luckiest people to be so free and live your lives day by day. I wish I could live like that. If you ever come by Houston Tx on your way to Austin hit me up and I'll try to show you some areas where you can sell your wares pretty easily and maybe meet some others who might want to ride with you. I am like acheing to just pack a bag and jump on with you guys but I am afraid I wont have much to contribute until I could learn a useful skill like jewelry crafting, sewing, etc. In any case, when you get to Houston, if you do, if there's anything I can do to help you guys or make you feel like home please feel free to ask. Even if it's only to let you guys crash at my tiny apartment or take a shower here I will. Although I can confess that my gf might be a little suprised with a hippie flock showing up, she'll learn to deal with it. lol Peace. Love. and Truth Forever.

We're all curious. Where are you planning to travel to? Summer's half gone and I wonder if you have a route planned or if you're playing it by ear day by day.

 

this will be more of an adventure then previous journeys, we will be leaving late august early sept and be heading north, very north.

we have a new bus, wich has been extremely well insulatated and I installed a very large woodstove.

the first leg will be to edmonton, from there...well the yukon most likely.

That sounds like a route best started in late June, early July. Anyway, best of luck and keep us posted on where you're headed. I still have a cooler full of beer waiting if we ever meet up in Portland, Oregon!

I know Im replying to an old message but Im from Dickson TN and wanted to reply. It sucks that there are people like that and sadly it doesn't surprise me. There are some really great people around here though, and I wish you had run in to them instead. Maybe next time?

Yeah there are tons of crazy rednecks around here but like I said not all of us are. That is why I recently joined this site because I don't connect with most people here. Tn is great though so don't let dickson label the state if its the only place you've visited here. I'd make you feel welcome Jay =)

if you ever plan on going through Tn again you should check out Red boiling springs in June for the summer solctice festival....I garentee you will meet the friendliest people there and have a blast. Theres a website for it but Im not sure what the address is.

 

I know I havnt posted here for a while, its just been crazy, im out in vancouver prepping our highwaychild house, we still have the bus and the tribe is still blooming.


we need ALL tribe to pray send vibes maybe even write a letter for a long time tribe member , a friend I and many others hold dear to our hearts,

nickie a girl who started her journey on the highway with me and has kept travelling even when the bus is not moving, she hasnt been on a bus since 2002, I really wish we stayed closer...

she started hanging out with rain riders, and circled the contintent many times by herself, she is known by many mnay travelling kids as a beautifull soul.....even though when shes drunk she'll pee on you!

nickie was arrested ealier in august on murder charges!

everyone who knows nickie knows shes not violent but will hold her own if ever needed,
she was panhandling in the niagra region of ontario and she was attacked by some idiots , they started spiitting at her and her dogs a confrontation started....

I dont know many of the details, I do nickie I dont know who in the group actually did anything, or even if she was directly involved the info I have is second hand.

please all send her conforting vibes prayers and thoughts while she fights to free her name....
