Does anyone else think this show is one of the funniest things ever. The lines that these people come up with are priceless. Its on right now on cnbc if anyone who hasent seen it wants to check it out.
ya i watched that a little while ago one guy was like hey so you wanna sit on my lap like seconds in to meeting up with her then the host guy was like what did you think was gonna happen and hes like i wasnt gonna do anything just a talk and then go home the host just laughed at him and told the cops to cuff him
yea dude that show is funny as hell it never fails where ever they go they always catch ppl i think thos guys need the shit beat out of them honestly that is sick stuff dude who wants to sleep with 13 or 14 yr old shit these guys are all old shit i would be going to a club to find chicks not the internet or shit go to walmart there is always hot chicks up there i always het stoned and go to wal mart and meet chicks
Yeah, I definitely think its pretty funny. I read an article in Rolling Stone about it though... and I'll tell you, it is a little fucked up. Many of those cases constitute entrapment, DA's are refusing to prosecute them because of lack of evidence, men are killing themselves after being busted on that show, etc etc. The article also talks about how these men will be harassed, humiliated, and likely become victims of violence after they serve their long jail-sentence. Of all the ways to catch child molesters; putting them on a national TV show and embarassing them to all hell is NOT the best way to do it. The fact that these men are treated worse than convicted murderers, rapists, and violent drug offenders is a little disturbing in itself. So I'm torn; I do enjoy the show, but its kind of hypocritical of me, because I totally disagree with the way they go about doing it, and I'm even disgusted that they can get away with some of this stuff.
I completly dissagree. It has been deturing people from doing it because they are scared that they will be caught. Look at how many people on there talk about the show and that they are nerves. Plus the numbers have gone down since the show started, and they are getting less and less people. The show most deffently is a great way to go about it. It scares people out of doing it. And i dont care how much you are loured in, there is still no need to go fuck a 13 year old.
Actually, it is in complete violation of the way the justice system of the United States is supposed to operate. Its really unbelievable that not only have they been able to get away with breaking the law, they have been getting away with it for a couple years now. That is so fucked.
I like the premise of the show, getting sick fucks in jail. But they act without evidence in a lot of cases. There was a guy who killed himself. Some people just need medical help. Kind of messed up.
in all seriousness though, i'm not sure if the decoy is the same in every show but the one i saw was FUCKING DOPE, like if that chick tried to force herself upon me i wouldnt resist, so obviously alot of these fucked up guys wont either LOL
I agree. But, these "sick fucks," keep recieving calls and instant messages from Perverted Justice decoys, practically fucking begging them to come, long after they have changed their mind and said no. This would be entrapment clearly seen from a mile away if the arresting "officers" weren't private citizens, a move designed clearly to break laws in the most subtle, and "respectful" ways possible. On the flip-side; yeah, there are some people that are gung-ho, and potentially dangerous sexual predators; and they should be in jail. However, statistics show these numbers are extremely limited. If the program wasn't designed in the same "news-o-tainment" fashion (which so many of you are so quick to crucify in every other fucking instance), it wouldn't be NEARLY as interesting. Overall, I think Perverted Justice does more harm than good. And believe me, I in no way support sex-offenders, but the truth is, they should be entitled to the same rights and privaleges as the rest of us.
go read the transcripts at perverted jucitecs website. There are some guys who within 5 mintures tell them taht they want to fuck them. They deffently do not insite a ton of these people. i agree that insiting people is wrong, and a lot of what they do is wrong, but they help out a shit load.
They do a lot more behind the scenes than you would think. Id imagine they have tons of other videos of guys they cant show because of whatever reason making NBC look like idiots. It is entrapment. I remmeber one of the guys doing a video after saying he was approached by the person firstly (ala entrapment) and that her older 19 year old sister would be there.
the majority of the people reconginze that they have done somthing really wrong. And if a 13 year old girl were to walk up to you, drop your pants, and beg you to fuck her you wouldent. But these guys would. Thats the problem. Because there are girls out there who want to have sex with older guys, but its there responsabilty as an adult to do the right thing. what perverted juctice does is simulate what happens in real life.
O, and just to set the record straight, i completly agree that once someone says that they dont want to meet up they should stop conversations with them.
So breaking the law, coaxing non-violent men into attempting lewd acts on a child, humiliating the men, sending them to serve lengthy prison terms in prisons where they are more likely to come out a hardened criminal, and further subjecting them to future random acts of violence and hatred is "helping out a shitload"? Any stunt that can single-handedly do all of those things to a first-time offender, while still breaking the law, is not "helping." Please, explain to me how setting up a show that is unconstitutional, with some kind of absurd penchant for hunting down criminals that are the LEAST likely to commit a repeat offense out of all criminals, is helping anything at all... considering the vast majority of sex offenses on minors are commited by relatives, or persons the child KNOWS. Basically, all its doing is diverting attention from the REAL problem. Keep in mind; To Catch a Predator is simply a news-media stunt. NEWS-MEDIA. The same news media that lies to you about virtually everything else, right down to our precious mary-jane. But now, you're willing to follow them blindly, just because you need entertainment and claim to be all for the cause? Give me a f'n break... And if any joe-schmoe can go play 5-0 for a day, as they to on TCAP, then whats next? A show with the same premise but this time on marijuana? Conviently enough, the show will be coming to an end soon. I guess they finally discovered that people are catching on to their little farce. Hell, even the producers are catching on; some resigning, some being fired for speaking publicly about their concerns that the show is ethically, and borderline criminally, fucked up. The bottomline is this; sex-offenders (especially those who commit offenses against our youth) need to be prosecuted. However, the entire system needs to be reformed- starting with the removal of TCAP.
I just said i dont agree with it when they coax them in. But i do think that if they just sit in chat rooms and wait for some random perve to basiclly say hi, what your name, how old are you, wanna fuck? Its okay.
No shit. We've already established thats what you think... So far, you've failed to enlighten me on why PJ is "helping out shitloads." Because in reality, all its doing is fucking everything up... shitloads. Making a complete mockery of the justice system, and fucking up lives is NOT helping anything. Its helping to further degrade the country, but thats about it
All i am saying is that they are acomplishing what they are trying to do. I never said it was a good thing in the process of how they do it. But to what they consider "helping" they are doing a might fine job.
Actually, they aren't even good at what they do... I think I got my point across though. Sorry if I came off as a dick... just trying to make you realize there is a LOT more to shit besides what is seen on TV. No way I would support something that corrupt and fucked up... and if most people knew, I doubt they would either.
