1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

Hello all. I work at a health food store and are aware of holistic and naturual medicine for humans, but for animals I am at a loss. I was also a vet tech for a year and am a little skeptical of the current vet practices. I live right outside of Chicago and am currently looking for something to help my golden retriever Peaches. She is 11 and has had numerous lumps and bumps. She has had surgery to have two removed already and they keep coming back. They are never said to be cancerous but golden retreivers are prone to cancer and I do not want to put her through surgery again. She has a lump located by her lungs and is now begining to cough but still seems to be happy and healthy otherwise. I would like to find a natural vet nearby but have not seemed to have much luck. Also if anyone knows anything about an animal healing circle I would be very much interested. Thank you again and any at all help would be greatly appreciated. Much love and peace sent to all. Sarah...

yeah I heard about the apricot seeds and a drug called laetrile which is apricot kernel derived. as with all treatments and cures there will be people who say it works and some that denounce it.
