    hello,
I've been suffering from chronic back pian for the last 2 years and for a year and a half I've been on vicodin 7.5mgs.

my doctor cut me down to vicodin 5mgs and it is not cutting it. I called him up and told him this so he's calling me in tramadol. I know nothing about tramadol and was wondering if you all knew anything about it.

My doctor is an idiot (and a rude one at that, he treated me like a druggieand wasn't in the least bit courtious about my questions). I honestly think it's time to find a new doctor, but that's not the question. (sorry, but I had to add a tiny rant, it's flustrating).

    Thanks for your help

Try the tramadol before you read about it's effects. That way your results aren't psychosymatic. I will say that you can't take more than perscribed or you will have sezuires. It's very dangerous if taken in large doses or with alcohol.
I really hope you feel better. I have a friend with back pain who got a gravity sling and is now completley off the pain meds. Her back pain was so bad before that she was taking percs.

Tramadol is a pain med. Its strong in a bad way. I have a friend who always pops pills and she doesnt even like them. They are alright except they make you dizzy. Even the day after you take them you will feel like your not on pain meds but still dizzy.
