Forest fires ruining the season! Almost over

Fall is coming upon us and I only got to camp once this summer, a few weeks after that awesome hike and campout forest fires started raging all over the state. This has happened all over the country, and they closed down alot of the trails and restricted camping.

Of course, it's still possible to sneak out and camp anyway, and I am looking forward to doing that next week. I spend hundreds of dollars on a new internal-framed camping backpack, new tent, lots of stuff and only got to camp once.

Just wondering if anyone else has been affected by forest fires.
