Two young Worthing lasses are being prosecuted for "outraging public decency" after flashing their boobs at a CCTV camera on the seafront. The Brighton Argus estimates their trial at Chichester Crown Court will cost taxpayers up to £10,000 per day. You can read the full story here (NB all the puns you can think of have already been taken): http://www.theargus.co.uk/search/display.var.1640292.0.is_this_the_breast_use_of_police_resources.php
I'm not sure what I think of this story. For one thing, if a bloke were to flash his little chap at a CCTV camera, he'd probably be put right away on the same charges. On the other hand, tits are fairly unavoidable if you read tabloids nowadays, and they're not really as "indecent" as that, if you can rate indecency.
boobs are just big lumps of fat. the irony being you can show as much boob as you want as long as you cover your nipples...which men can freely display. its not like they whipped their muffs out for public display. a penis is blatently more sexual than a pair of boobs. but then if a guy was walkin down street naked i wouldnt say that was sexual either unless he was obviously playing with himself or insinuating something sexual. our bodies are a product of nature... theyre only sexual if thats what theyre doing. if i am masturbating with my hand then my hand is a sexual aid....but is my hand sexual if i am writing, or eating, or drinking a glass of water. i have flashed my boobs soooo many times in my youth... i certainly wouldnt expect to end up in crown court over it alongside rapists, murderers and other high risk criminals. and yes the cctv man... i thought the official line is that cctv is there to protect us, not to invade our privacy. well noone needed protecting from an obviously jokey display, theyre there to alert police of danger, and crime. not harmless fun. ive played up to cctv before. me and my friend had been to the theatre one night a few years ago and the camera was watching us, following us about, so hell we played up to it...if he was watching those girls and they noticed it, im not surprised they played up for it either. its not like they looked up and saw a straightlace boring fart of an old man... they looked up and saw a piece of metal on a stick following them. stupid country
and it seems the CCTV operator was the one who complained to the police ... so if the camera hadnt been there, there would have been no "offence" and no complaint.
Did the report mention the sex of the CCTV operator? Probably female. I mean, what man would complain at breasts being flashed at them? Apart from maybe gays, but then they probably wouldn't be that bothered.
A few years ago I saw two guys who decided to take a naked stroll along Brighton beach and the street just above it, on a busy summer's afternoon. Eventually one embarrassed copper turned up and persuaded them first of all to sit on the beach facing away from the town, to protect us all from the sight of their bits, and then to get their togs back on. Job done, the copper made his exit to cheers from punters at the seafront bars. Everyone treated it as a bit of a laugh and I don't think there was any question of arresting them.
Breasts are breasts. Women breastfeedng babies have their breasts out. Tits are everywhere. I wouldnt care if all women walked around with no clothes on. And the same goes for men. If a man have flashed his ding-dong at the camera, i wouldnt care either... Now if the man had a raging hardon and was following people around with it, or being sexually suggestive in any way, then thered be a problem. Same for the women. But just taking the clothes off and having a bit of a wiggle...yawn...
