marriage all together? What would you do then as Christians to bypass the sin of premarital sex?

    Its a moot point.

The neocon government maintains it's power by the fact it closely associates with the religious right, who in turn closely align themselves with Israel.

History teaches us that any attempt to ban religion by a government ends in absolute failure.

    Lets ban the govt. too!

If you love someone and want to have a close and enduring relationship, why should a piece of paper and a silly ceremony make any difference?

I don't think you should ban religion, but maybe marriage, but really, when two(or more) people agree to be together forever, and love each other, than they are spiritually married, and when they change their minds, they are divorced, who cares about legal marrige?

    Hi Sign Related,
I’m sorry that you’re question wasn’t taken more seriously, because it’s actually a very good question.
Christians are bound by secular law only as long as it doesn’t conflict with God’s laws. So if secular law says you need to register all marriages a Christian would register his marriage because that would not conflict with God’s law. But if secular law banned marriage then that would conflict with God’s law and a Christian would then obey God’s law rather than man’s. This sort of thing has happened in the past and in that case Christians would have small religious marriage ceremonies.
