what do you think of this herb?

I'd call it high mids compared to florida weed -_- we got shit for mids

 

then that means it shit. not mids.

 

The bud looks ok. I usually don't voice any critiques about peoples weed if theyre smoking me up, but since you ask Id say that it looks like some good mids. The shape of the bud looks nice and you said it has a good smell so It prob tastes pretty good and isnt to bad on the throat for smoking, but I just don't really see many of the nice crystals.

 

Looks like your average mid around here. It's certainly not dirt weed but its not your dang. But honestly if you go around the streets theres only select dealers that have dank, you just hear the term on here because its a maryjane forum, what else do you expect honestly.

I think thats your average weed. Just like you will find anywhere else.

Man it looks alright to me, I think I see some hairs, and I have had some that didn't have any, I wouldn't call it dank though.

 

You cannot tell sh!t from that pic other than the trim was sloppy but those lil half leaves carry alot of trichomes (and flavor ). The only way to tell is to use a small jeweler's loop and check the trichome heads for color and development.

Is it compressed? -> brick weed - no further comment needed.
Was it wet? -> dealer trick for weight can cause degredation if left too long
Smell? -> purely for kicks but I like a nice smelling nug.
Seeds? -> shouldn't be for the good stuff but hermies happen
Toke Test -> clean pipe - take one hit - smell the smoke from the pipe - taste the exhaled smoke - smooth, harsh, fruity?
Ash? -> should be nice and white if flushed properly.

I have had some really nice centerfold looking buds that were so-so and some light airy sativa buds (looked like crap) that were just fantastic!

Your pipe will be the judge.

i was thinking the same thing about the trimmings...seems kinda leafy.

other than that, no seeds, few crystals(but they are there), nice red hairs, flowery smell

overall, i say it was a good smoke... nice flavor, not harsh..

 

i really don't know if its mediocre pot or just a mediocre quality picture of decent pot...

whats more important is if you smoke it, do YOU like it? does it taste good? does it get you high with only a few hits? does it smell nice both before its lit, and does it have an aromatic smoke?

if your answer to all of those questions is "yes" then you've got good bud, regardless of what other people might think of it.
