What I ment to point out is that if something is natural or not isn't always the reason to determine wether you should do something or not.
I cant think of anything i see as natural being wrong, personally, so i beg to differ But in saying that being unable to stand rain was unnatural was NOT making that point anyway, it was one thing i said, a single thing, and was actually valid. You cant stop the rain. Its like saying all leaves are disgusting to the human and should be taken out of our lives
Cooking dead animals isn't natural, we invented it and I prefer it. Just like rain causes me to stay inside sometimes, because I don't want to get wet how natural it may be.
Which kind of takes us back to the global warming point in a nice loop. Lets not care about the natural, its about convenience and what feels nice. Just like the people driving unnecessarily and excessively. Like the people consuming crazy amounts regardless of the effects. Natural is just for losers nowadays, its all about whats preferred for a time I understand what you mean in that if we have the means then we dont HAVE to get wet...i mean we have umbrellas or whatever or we can stay indoors, and i dont mind that! My point was that the person in question was not just using those means, they were using rainwater as an excuse to drive and unnecessarily pump tonnes of harmful stuff into our air and therefore harm our planet
Certainly not, I'm also passionate about my environment. You're taking it to the extreme. Natural or not isn't always the thing to determine if it's the right way. I maybe didn't used the most practical example, but it is a clear one. Global warming seems to me most likely a natural cause, which certainly doesn't mean we should all just go on using our cars for every little thing. Well, in my opinion it is not necessarily wrong in some cases to use your car when it's raining because it's raining. Just don't make a habit of it.
Im not taking it to the extreme saying a woman who lives in a place which i KNOW for solid fact has an extensive, functioning public transport system (because i use it!) should consider getting an umbrella and walking to the train station, which is probably nearby, or to the nearest bus stop and using the public transport rather than the car, in order to help this planet. By saying that rain is not a good enough excuse to use the car every single day. That simply is not extreme
The woman in question was talking about her fiancé "needing" the car to support the family. That would imply the car was used daily, or at least 5 days a week. Does it rain every single day?
I remember the summers here more sunnier as well.. Also more snow in the winter . But most likely it's one of the sun's strange tricks on the earth.
Amen brother. It all seems so easy until you try it yourself. It is quite the unexplainable phenomenon ~ when I try to eliminate something wasteful or distracting from my life, it seems to sneak its way back as though it belonged. Go figure!
There's one sure way to stop global warming-- we need to sell our homes, sell our cars, quit our jobs, cut off our nads and embrace cannibalism.
I believe that cars are one of the reasons of global warming. I'm not saying that we should all get rid of our cars, no. I'm just saying that we should reduce their use, only use them when we really, really really, really have to.
