Man I am surprised more people haven't watched/commented on this movie. This shit is fucken nuts, a must watch for everyone.
I'm about 20 minutes in, and I like it overall, he makes some good points. However, I think he takes the cultural comparisons a little too far. There ARE some uncanny similarities between some of the religious stories, but on some of the things he's reaching too far, and it diminishes the impact of his argument. For instance, claiming that the name of the virgin "Maya" begins with an M because the symbol for Virgo is an altered M seems like a bit of a stretch to me. In the first place, Western astrology (to my limited knowledge) had little to no influence in India (seeing as how they had their own system and all), at least at the time that particular myth arose. Second, the spelling of "Maya" itself is only for the benefit of those using the Western alphabet, and the original stories were probably written in Sanskrit or some similar language, in which the character for the "M" sound probably does not resemble the Western equivalent. Excuse me for any minor factual errors in the above, I'm relying on self-education in this area. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to nitpick. I just think that if you're going to try and change many people's minds, you need to be able to back up what you say. Otherwise, when somebody points out the errors, people will not take the rest of your message seriously. (Okay, I'm getting off my pretentious soapbox now...)

Examples from the begging of the film: Horus was not the sun god. The was no December 25th in egypt because the greco roman calendar did not exist yet Egyptians did not crucify people Only western Christianity celebrates christs birth on the 25th of december, eastern churches still calculate the date with the old calendar, which puts it on varying days, usually in january. As for the sources he lists, several are essays of opinion cited as fact. Most of the sources he sites don't include a bibliography of their own. Anyways, just remember anything that says "everyone is lying to you..." is probably lying to you.
Honestly I was thinking that too, also some of the inconsistencies with the Horus-Isis-Osiris myth (in at least some versions Isis begets Horus by having sex with Osiris's dead body, after she puts it back together)... but I was afraid of looking like a smartass. :-/
The first part was boring, but the part about 9/11 and the central banking dudes, was really mind opening. I see no reason do deny what he is saying, this is just a real prediction of what the world is becoming, this is one of the main reasons why i started believing in anarchism, just because i don't want to be owned, i don't want to be the ant in the ant-hill. I want to be a free individual. this world is shit, most people just don't realize it. there is one thing worse then physical slavery and that is mental slavery, where the person loses his unique individu.
The movie didn't cover anything I don't already know, and it could have went a lot deeper than it did with the religions, but what they said was mostly accurate with only a few small errors. As far as December 25th, keep in mind the Egyptian calendar was also based on a 365 day cycle with 12 month years and 30 day months. So December 25th closely corresponds to the Egyptian calendar, and both are pretty much in synch with the winter solstice, which is what this symbolism is based upon: the sun. And no, the Egyptians didn't "crucify" people, but they did sacrifice people, which is essentially the same thing. You are placing too much emphasis on words. Christianity is merely a re-write of the much older pagan religions. The story of the birth of Christ is based on the sun's position in the sky, and this story predates Christianity by thousands of years. "Christ" is merely the Christian name for the sun, which was represented under many other names (such as Horus) over many thousands of years. December 25th is approximately the day the sun/son begins to gradually rise in the sky following the winter solstice, thus "Christ" has risen. All of the organized religions are of the same origins and follow the same storyline, which is based on sun worship and astrology. What was written about in the Bible is merely allegory for what exists in the sky above. It's the same old story, only re-written to appear new.

man even if this movie is bullshit its been more then proved that jesus was a plagerized idea. i suggest you watch "the pharamacratic inquisition" google it. its a b grade documentary on how all religions are pretty much all based from entheogenic plants. how can you be sure if jesus was born at all let alone to say its in september?? and even for all the wrong points in this movie theres still way to many similaritys and sound facts for any religion to deny.

Thank you. I believe that all we can do is try to discover the truth for ourselves. It helps though that the Lord gifted me with faith and salvation when I asked Jesus to be my saviour. The Lord gives this gift to anyone who sincerely asks for it. Since I was reborn I've been able to see the world in a whole new light!
Although the first part is really interesting, The second and third parts are the best. About the whole religion thing. I have always wondered, who is to say the bible is true? Like is there any other sources written by historiens of the time that mention Jesus, or the Whole moses and Pharaoh, or any of the other shit in the bible? I believe in god, but I think people blindly follow and believe in the bible with no proof. People demand proof of everything else, why not the bible?
This movie was mindblowing. I mean, the whole thing about Christianity being based on the stars moving around in the sky and everything, that seriously blew my mind. As for the stuff about 9/11 and all that, that just scared me shitless. And only strengthens my faith in Ron Paul for president.
