Has anyone else seen this show yet? It's great. Makes me actually understand astronomy! The graphics are fantastic.

If you haven't seen it yet, each episode is about a different subject in the universe, last night's was all about earth. They have had one on the sun already too which was cool. Worth checking out, it's on Tuesday's at 9.

I've seen a couple episodes of it. I like it alot. I would have watched it more, but I always forget when it's on. I love any shows about space and the solar system and whatnot.

Man, this thread is old. But I love The Universe! It's one of my favorite shows. (Insert the words "when I'm high" at the end of every sentence.)

It's a little dorky, but it's teaching me a shitload about...well, the universe.

Our DVR automatically records it, so we've always got a few episodes kicking around. Although we're running out of ones we haven't seen yet. :(

i love this series, i think they've wrapped it up. There has been 2 seasons of this show and it does a great job making crazy theorys of space understandable. Still can't beat the cosmos by carl sagan but then again nothing will because its class but anything about space is great!

It doesn't do that thing where they repeat the same bit of information over and over that most History shows do, does it?

Yep, it indeed does. And then most of their information changes from the first series to the second. Lol. But it's still a wicked program.
They need to make a new season already since life has almost been found on Titan.

^ apparently, when shows repeat that information at the beginning and end of the commercial break, it makes the commercials more effective.

I always change channels for commercials though..

The commercials on the history channel here are just for what's coming this month on the history channel so I just fast forward through them because I record documentaries in case they're good.
But yes, after every break they repeat everything again. =p

it makes the absorption of the information more likely
