The Anti-Christ Is Not A Person

It's a spiritual disease. A plague really.

What is Anti-Christ?

Basically, it's anything that removes your ability to have empathy and compassion for your fellow man. The baser instincts of the mind come forward and the qualities of the heart are pushed back.

This produces a person who, although they may have great intelligence, are nothing more than thinking machines. Cold. Logical. With little feeling. Their world concerns themselves and maybe those close to them. They cannot connect to the cosmic consciousness.

Look around you. Do you not see this sickness on the rise with every passing day? The leadership of nations are full of such people.

This is the rise of the Anti-Christ. The great plague.

The "beast" is what encourages this kind of behavior. It is represented through everything materialistic. Banks. Credit card companies. "Society", who professes "be like me, or be nobody".

Will you sell yourself into slavery with these people?

Or are you strong enough to resist it's charms?

While there are people who will have some starring roles in coming events, they are just ordinary humans with no magical powers or anything. Anything they can do, you can do.

What is a miracle but something you have not yet mastered yourself?

The Anti-Christ disease has to run it's course. It cannot be diverted. The reason being is the same as when you slap a person who has lost conciousness. It takes a hard knock to break the spell of this tunnel vision.

This hard knock will first come in the form of a world war. The world you know today will be turned upside down. Over a billion people will die, disrupting commerce and civilization itself.

The second blow is the disease and starvation that follows such a war. This will claim another share of the world's population. Radiation sickness on a wide scale. Many cities will just die out. Nothing can be done for them.

The third blow will come from people who rise up to claim power over the remnants of humanity. This is where the biblical legend of the Anti-Christ comes from. A spiritual dark age. When you're in survival mode, you don't have time to ponder anything else.

During this time, some improvement will be made in supplying people with basic needs. The price attached to this will be high. Secular people will elevate themselves to positions of great power. And, as in the past, some will claim themselves to be gods. If you want to live, you'll have to bend a knee to them or go without.

There will be another conflict to bring these people down.

People will then be awake enough to see the error of their ways. Religion will fade away, and in it's place will be those who teach direct contact with the divine.

Just as it should be. Just as it was in the beginning.

Religion, you see, is largely responsible for what is to come. It will make a comeback with the passing of time, because all things here have a cycle to them, but in the meantime, the world will finally enjoy peace for a while.

Then the cycle repeats.

The mark of the beast aka 666 was actually a reference to Nero, who was notorious for his persecution of early Christians. The writer was referring to events in his time.

This is true.

But even the ancients realized that all things of this world have cycles. This is an old theme with a modern face. The religions of the day cannot see beyond their limited time period.

But we old folk have seen it before.

There are others who say Ronald Reagan was the Anti-Christ. If you look at his full name, Ronald Wilson Reagan, each of the three names has six letters. Thus you have the 666. So you see it wasn't Bonzo who was "the beast", it was Reagan.

 

Reagan, sure,.....i think it's a whole lot of bullshit. I respect people's religion, but when your basing your conclusions on your own revalations instead of facts, then you've got the Salem Witch trials all over again.

 

Facts? What "facts" are there in relation to subjects like "the number of the beast" or the "Anti-christ"? There are none. It's all subjective interpretation.

 

The number 666 is in dispute in some circles. 616 and 665 appear in some ancient sources.

I wouldn't put much stock in any of it. The bible is so full of symbolism, the original meaning behind most of it has been lost.

The anti-christ has no more reality than rumplestilskin, or any other character in fiction.
Some people need to get their heads out of those big black books and begin to look at reality.

 

If I were religious, I would agree.

However, as one who needs no middle man, I see the cycle rather than the actors.

I don't think the sower of seeds is coming, I think the seeds he's sown are going to come to maturity instead, and do battle against those who still follow books.

The book religious represent the spirit of Anti-Christ. Its going to be a hell of a shock to them too.

ok. i think in my own opinion,(that will probably be shot down like a bird)-Jesus is a state of mind. i don't think he exists, or god either. I think it was a coping mechanism for the mind way back in the old days, and it has evolved as have people. As for the anti-christ, i don't there is one of those either. Fear of it is pointless, because you cannot fear what is not to come. I am not BASHING christians or their belief systems, i respect them greatly; i am simply stating the facts as I see them.~

 

Lets hope he's got some nice clean tissues to hand then.

 

yea i agree more with this than any other christian interpretation i've ever heard. christ may or may not have been a man/rabbi who lived 2000 years ago... we will never know for sure. when christians start to view christ as a man rather than a state of being, then they lose sight of what jesus was about.

Christ Consciousness is a verb, not a noun. it's what many religious christians lose sight of in favor of dogmatic practices. 'Christ' is the same awareness that the buddha or jesus or any other enlightened individual may or may not have had.
