i use herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo. it leaves my hair smelling fresh alll day and its so shiny and managable :)

which probably isn't helping you cuz you're a dude and you probably aren't worried about smelling strongly like fantastic fruit scents

I dont use shampoo. Ever since i have dreads ive just stop using shampoo all together. It got pretty icky and oily and everything by now for example i havent washed my hair with shampoo in like 2 months, just rinse it with water. It pretty much does the job:D

Garnier Fructise or however the hell you spell the crazy name. It's pretty good. The conditioner is nice.

Back when I was in hair competitions I refused to use any store bought shampoo and conditioner. I just damages it in the long run.

My shampoo is home made... i wont get into the details, it involves boiling water etc.

However, for conditioner, and I swear by this. Apple cider vinager. Mix 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar with 1 quart water and use as a final rinse after shampooing.

You won't regret it. I do that maybe once or twice a week.

Go into the shampoo aisle and smell all the cheap ones. See which one smells the best. Make sure it's not, like, for african american hair, or something. Buy. Use. Smell good. Mission Accomplished.

Use it little by little all in one go. DONT GET IT IN YOUR EYES. You'll regret that.

You'll find your hair may smell like vinager. I usually rinse with distilled water if I find that to be the case. Seems like its tedious but I do it once or so a week and its more routine. As for the poofy hair. My friend said it made her hair like silk. And it makes mine feel like sick, though mine is not so poofy haha.
