Hey Shaif, Thanks for this, You are one muslim that I truly find is the rightful servant of Allah. The losers who discriminate against other muslims, who are blind to compassion and who resort to torturing non muslims are not muslims. With that said, Please tell me the reason why women wear burquas(in a positive light). Also please tell me how a good muslim serves allah.
Hey Jedi friend, thanks for the compliment... for Q1: Burquas: pronounced in Arabic nearly/b3:rko/. Burqua my friend is an old Arabic tradition; this Burqua is of many kinds and is made of cloths (light kind) with a very small stick(very small piece of wood) to fix it to the nose or with small hooks at both its edges to hold it to the face. What it different in kinds that the quality of the cloth, the materials used on it and that depends on the purpose it is used for. The one of best quality is used by the bride in weddings as a value of beauty as also in festivals. In additional to its value of beauty it is of another use and that is to worn by adult females since they were not allowed to go out with their faces uncovered (part of their tradition as they see it not decent for the young girl to move around with an opened face). The kind of Burqua worn by young girls was than of the ladies and it is only changed for the young girl in her wedding to look more beautiful. So Burqua has to purposes, first is as a peace of ornament that add beauty to women and the other to hide their faces as not to be seen by a strange man. Burqua in modern time is most beautiful than ever. take a look: The question here is what Arabic traditions has to with Islam? (I tell this the way I understand it).. As we know Islam appeared in the Arabic peninsula and then spread round the world. And some Arabic tradition lived a long time after Islam and in the course of time some of it was so mixed to Islamic teaching that it was considered later parts of Islam. In the case of Burqua, Islam calls for the decent behavior and virtue in the side of women as in the side of men. Wearing Burqua was a sign of virtue in old Arabic traditions but when it comes as an Islamic teaching it play a power effect on non-Arabic communities. And that is the effect we see on Afghan women while they were not obliged in the time of the messenger to wear it. The main principle is to lead the right behavior and to avoid the one that leads to deeds that of unaccepted value or result (fornication for example). more pictures follow... hi dear brother.. Q2: - Also please tell me how a good muslim serves allah. before answering this i think we need to identify who is a Muslim? lets start with the word itself 'Muslim' its an Arabic word, what does it mean? the word 'Muslim' is an adjective though its not translated and always written with capital. so whom it describes? in other words what conditions requires a person to gain such describtion. lets try translate this adjective first: one meaning of Islam is Submission and also could imply the meaning 'safety'... a Muslim then Is submitted and a safe person submitted to God (Allah), and safe of polytheism because he believs that Allah is the only true God and he worships only him. which is the main, the essence of being submitted slave of Allah (i.e. a Muslim). Allah the almighty, tells us in Qur'an that he forgives anything, anything at all to whoever he wants, but doesn't forgive admitting or worshipping any other with him (calling an other god, praying for him and do him sacrifices or any aspect of worshipping) not only that, but he also does not accept any work from you as long as you keep another god beside him. read this translated verse of Qur'an: "God forgiveth not that partners should be set up with him; but he forgiveth anything else, to whom he pleaseth; to set up partners with God is to devise a sin most heinous indeed." Al-Nisaa (women) 4:48 "God forgiveth not (the sin of) joining other gods with him; but he forgiveth whom he pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with God, hath strayed far, far away (from the right)." Al-Nisaa (women) 4:116 If you could do this brother the road is then wide open for you to recieve Allah's love and for your voice to by answered by Allan. you need no mediation between you and Allah. and you know Allah loves when you ask him or repent to him. and He is always there for you. these are not just words to raise your spirit but that is true. and remember this life is only a test for this matter - worshipping only the one true God-and that is why it is a short life. your only obligation is to Allah. what rights others could have to be worshipd for? aren't they just creatures in the world of Allah?
Not all muslim women wear burkahs. Very few in fact do. I'm a muslim woman and I don't even wear hijab, though I have many friends who do. In the Quran it basically is telling women, and men btw, to dress modestly so as not to attract those that shouldn't be attracted to you, if that makes sense. I dress modestly, i.e. I don't show anything below the neck, above my hands or above my feet. My choice to not wear the veil is a personal one as it is with all muslim women. In my own opinion women who wear the burkah and are not forced to do so, as they were in Afghanistan, are taking things to the extreme.
