Will I look like an idiot trying to score?

Do you work with people that smoke?

 

Well if I was 41 I wouldn't buy from a street dealer. You could get a better, more reliable deal from someone your own age, like a co-worker.

But if you're going to go for the street dealer, then just find a guy and act like it's no big deal. That's the most important thing, in my opinion. Put yourself in the dealer's shoes, and don't act too eager to get it. Just go up with some cash in your pocket and ask "What can you give me for $50" or something. If you want to act like you're not a cop, then act like a civilian doing something illegal. Look around a little bit, most importantly let the dealer catch you looking around.

Worst case scenario, if they think you're a cop then they won't deal to you or they might recommend a rival dealer :lol:.

Just act cool and go with it and everything'll turn out okay.

 

If you have money, I doubt they'll care. Confidence is the key.
Make yourself look like someone that the dealer would WANT to deal to.

 

No one that I *know* at work smokes. That's a difficult one to find out though since by asking you're kind of giving up the secret that you yourself smokes. I have asked a few trusted coworkers and they all drink like fishes but don't smoke at all. I don't drink at all but I smoke. Go figure.


Yeah look like I know what I am doing??? hahahaha. I've never had to go look for a dealer so I don't know what I'm doing! Before going through my girlfriend's brother I always just got it from my exhusband. He did the scouting out and all that stuff. I never even knew where he got it from.

What really sucks and is ironic is that I'm 41, right? But I'm the baby of the family. I have a 50 yr old sister who smokes daily and has a regular dealer but she won't give me anything and won't tell me who she gets it from because I have kids and she doesn't want them to be "corrupted". How whack is that. :toetap:

Well I aimed, I shooted and I did NOT score. I went to a local smoke shop and kind of tried to look all casual. Brought $200 on me and saw someone who looked not only like he was a stoner but like he was totally wasted. I said, "hey do you know where I can get a bag of weed?" and he said, "no I don't touch the stuff"



Riiiiiiiiiiiight. lil dude was stoned out of his mind. Probably thought I was a spy for his mom or something. lol.


So......one strike out so far but I'm not giving up. If anyone in the area wants to help a nice woman out I'd be much appreciative. Probably no one would since heck I don't think I would from someone online either. lol

Tomorrow my plan of action is to scope out the people at work and look for the ones who I *think* might smoke. I'm in a pretty high up position though so this is gonna be tricky on how to broach the subject. Wish me luck!

 

maybe 'bag of weed' wasn't a cool term. try calling it something cool and hip next time. like 'grass' or 'gunja'

young people respond to hip language.

and, don't hang out inside the heady, stand outside and just lean against the wall like you're waiting for a dealer. you'll get approached.

bar areas are also a good place to 'score marihuanah'

 

I have a friend in Boston, he knows some dealers, some of them full time. The next time I see him I'll ask if he can give me any numbers for a friend.

 

tell em you're looking for some bud, ask for a number of someone they know who sells.
