Crazy flood action

so yea... its been raining now for like the past week.. yesterday it rained ALL day long.. just about every city within a 35-40min drive is closed down due to heavy flooding in the valleys where there are shit tons of streams and rivers... its pretty crazy.. next day we're not suppose to have rain is wednesday

 

daamn.. i hate so much rain
its been raining here all day, but no flooding, yet

 

Its been raining on and off for the past 2 or 3 days, but no flooding.

 

9 people have died so far.. almost all the cities are evacuated... we've probably have got 2ft of rain since last sunday.. i know we got 10in last night.. some got more.. my managers gf's car is underwater in a nearby city

 

Damn man, that is crazy! Are you in a safe area?

 

Oh man, that's wild! It hasn't rained here in weeks, I miss it. Gonna hafta go outside and perform some wicked kinda raindance or something.

 

I have always wanted to go swimming in a giant puddle.

 

I used to live in louisiana so I had to deal with all those crazy floods and stuff. I moved to a dry sandy, mountainous place about 4 weeks before katrina was on the news. Go figure. =\

 

yea.. so far so good.. it would have to take quite a bit for it to flood here... im in a valley also.. but its surrounded by bluffs and the only water is the mississippi river... it would have to rise another 20ft for it to flood

 

Thats good. It is nice to have a safe location from flooding.

 

I remember bout 6 years ago being down by the levee and seeing the water be about 2ft from going over the levee wall.. it was kinda cool looking to see the river that fucking high
