I've heard of people saying that Marihuana has long-term effects such as depersonalization and other dissociative disorderly effects. Is that true?
(Not only Mariuhana, but also other drugs.)

hmmm i think depersonalization would be caused from the stronger drugs like dxm, and lsd. well if i smoke heaps of weed for a few days ill feel out of touch of reality. but with dxm, lsd and that shit, its somthing that can hit you whenever for years.

but i dont think if you smoked weed for say any number of years, and then quit. that you would experience depersonalisation after maybe a couple weeks or at the most a couple of months after quitting.

Only happens for a day or two after really, but I've been building up a high tolerance lately so time for a break! :)

well when your first start smoking or if you dont smoke often ever and get used to being high daily (more than once daily) than you can feel not comfortable after getting high, but when ive had this a long time ago i remember it only lasts less than a day, but i think it has to do with how fast your body can flush it out of your system, peace

Abuse of any drug is no good, but I don't think marijuana is very harmful in the long run, as long as caution is exercised. If you feel like your memory is going and you're a bit depersonalized, take a break. The brain is plastic, I think everything should come back eventually - even people who are permatripped come down eventually, just make sure you stop before it gets too serious.

I was just about to ask this...my memory/perception of reality has been going haywire for almost three days straight now. I know I took waaay too much but it still seems excessive for this to have lasted so long!

Any tips to snap back into the real world??
