have you ever had a near death experience?

well, what if during this near death experience, you actually did die. maybe when you didnt look both ways and ran into the road that car really did hit you, or maybe you did really break your neck playing football, or maybe when you hit that deer and woke up in the emergency room you were really dead.
the brain can have survive for up to 12 minutes after you die. ever notice that your mind can shift your time perception? ever notice that a 10 minute dream was really you sleeping for hours, or vice versa? what if right now, you are really dead, and this message is your subconcious telling you the truth? your brain could make those 12 minutes could be a year of dreaming, what if your body is in a cemetery right now?

    scary to think about huh?

The answer to what lies after death is this:

A contestant recently applied to Xfactor 2007. She had an apendix burst and her organs shut down one by one. She thought she was unconcious but actually she was dead. Death is nothing. There is nothing after death and the good thing is, you won't know anything.

A Queen of past century had her head chopped off. Yet the eyes moved from side to side whilst her lips were trembling. So I support your theory that the brain can live upto 12 minutes. In this case, her brain was alive for about 5 minutes.
But another case suggests, a lot of heads rolled and fell into a basket. But because of noises of grinding teeth, they were tossed into a well. Now known as the Well of the heads. The brain of each head must have been alive for a few minutes. Similar principle to the chicken. Except in chickens, the body runs about while the head is layed on the grass motionless.
Death is eternal unconsciousness. Anyone who questions that can check it out in the Bible;)

first off, the brain can live for up to that long, not always that long, having the head severed shortens the time much more, and second of all, the reason chickens bodies move like crazy when you cut off the head is because the knife or whatever you use to cut it with hits the nerves which cause them to flip out for a few minutes

Death is eternal unconsciousness. There is no strobe lighting or strange phenomenal discotheque. Once you have died, your body stiffens and you become....

    Additional: Death is oblivion.

How depressing! You are an eternal being having a human experience. I have had a near death experience and it changed my life. I left my body and went to this white light that was a Love so powerful there wasn't room for anything else which sent me into joy. I knew we were all there but there were no boundaries - mine and yours. We all shared past lives, experiences but we were still ourselves, not little ego, but pure being. We are all embraced by this light 24/7 but we are so powerful we can turn our attention away from our Source to experience separation. Well, I'm done with separation. Love is where it's at :)

If we are eternal. How come we don't have any recollection or memory of our past lives?
Surely the soul has a memory bank or a lasting fingerprint from the body and its life it last inhabited?

When people talk about death, everything is angel dance and tunnel vision. Surely there is a rational explanation.

Yeah i'm sure that we are not eternal. I think people just say that because it's less depressing, but i can handle the truth. I don't like the truth but i can handle it.

The trip on this planet is experiencing "forgetting" and "separation" from Source. Mind is the data bank of everything and it is accessible but you came here with a focus and purpose and you will access exactly what you need like doubt in your own divinity or eternalness. When you pick a focus like exploring depression, you open a file drawer called "depression" and anything that has to do with that subject is in the drawer. If you change your mind and open the drawer marked "eternal being", you will access everything that has to do with that subject. Synchronicity will appear in your life to mirror your focus in the form of people, a book, a movie, anything and everything is synchronicity. The more you focus on that the more you get. It can be miraculous but you have to pay attention to it. Nothing is an accident.

One of the ways to access past life data that is pertinent to this life's focus is to notice what civilizations really attract you. Are you fascinated with Egypt, India, Native American culture, etc.? You would not have an attraction if it wasn't significant in your life. Delving into it can give you clues to take you deeper into your own psyche. I'm interested in extraterrestrial civilizations. I started studying them and found the one that felt at home to me. As I got more into it, I started to have memories surface of a past life in the Pleiadian culture. Many people don't feel comfortable with the alien subject so it's not their trip this life.

Our feelings are important clues as to what we're working off of. Feelings go back to definitions about life. If you are defining this life as the only one you will ever have and it's lights out when it's over and this brings depression - guess what? You are not being your true Self which is Love/Light. You are made of this Love/Light. It keeps everything together and allows everything to play out. It is the Omnipresence.

I went to a place once, completely unintentionally to my conscious mind. I was in my store when all of a sudden I felt like a portion of myself had just reconnected. I didn't know I was disconnected. When I thought "where the hell was I?" - a voice in my head boomed "OBLIVION". What I experienced was this mental state where people had postulated themselves out of existence. I had gone there to try and light a candle to say "hey, there's an eternity of experience, wake up". This experience really scared the hell out of me. I realized that we are so powerful that we can actually believe we don't exist and experience that. So whatever you say is true is true for you. So all truths are true. No one has a handle on the truth. It's all up to us to define that for ourselves. But the ones that make us feel the most loved are Home.

I agree with Pleiadian Dreams, I do believe we are that powerful. imagine if we learned to use our whole brain. What would we be capable of?

Same here, I think Pleiadian Dreams is right. My dad has told me the exact same thing she just said. He's had a near death experience too and went into the white light thing.

Besides, if everything just goes blank when we die, then what are we other than just bodies? Do we have no spirits then? That makes no sense..it's like we're nothingness..

The confusion comes between something and nothing. We create the something and we are the no-thing but that doesn't mean we are nothing. We are the clarity of pure beingness. It's hard to express no-thing with something. That's why Buddhists call pure Spirit "that about which naught may be said". Thinking will never get us there. We have to suspend thinking and just be and open to receive. We are so used to being in the thinking mind; it's like a bad habit but with practice it becomes more obvious who the programmer is as opposed to the programs.

    Death waits for us all,
What happens after to each is a mystery.
    I know of eternity,
    I know of love,
    I know of death

I know at the moment I alive free and longing for the good times
Gotta take the bad with the good though
