Genre not important, who makes your list of leading singers. I don't really mean who was the best singer either, just like, who was great!

    1. John Lennon (The Beatles)
    2. Lou Reed (The Velvet Underground)
    3. Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
    4. Jimi Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix Experience)
    5. Morrisey (The Smiths)

    Honourable mention for Bob Marley.

    Greatest frontmen/women?

Anyone ever heard of a lil old band called... The Grateful Dead? :p

Ron "Pig Pen" Mckernan... absolutely fantastic frontman, dammit, Jerry's great, but there was no-one like Pig Pen.

I can't understand how I haven't heard any Grateful Dead yet. Someone on the forums has a signiture talking 'bout 30'000 songs, 200 albums, X live shows. I've still yet to hear a single note.

Same thing with Phish. Everyone who knows them thinks they're the greatest, but I've never even seen or heard a record by either band!
