I met Paul Simon once, in San Francisco. I chatted with him for a little while. He seemed like a nice man, although I got the impression he was always a step ahead of me in the conversation .. I wonder why? .. lol

I cannot explain how much I love Simon and Garfunkel.

And I have the concert in central park on dvd, its just.... sublime.

Their music has helped me alot through tough times. It really does feed my soul, my dad always knows that something is up when he can hear " The sound of silence" blasting from my room :p

I love them. Pure and Simple.

Yeah. I'm a big fan. They have really great lyrics. And their music is just so uplifting whilst at the same time, it is so full of saddening topics. Hazy Shade of Winter is such a cool song :)

  17. I'll never forget watching concert in the park when I was little, when that crazed fan tried to kill Paul Simon. They're one of the groups I grew up on, and I shall always enjoy their songs.

That was a scary moment, for sure. According to what I've read, I don't think he was trying to kill Paul. Supposedly what he said was ... "Paul, I want to talk to you." But then, who knows what he really had in mind?

I love Simon and Garfunkel. The music/voices are so mellow, such beautiful harmony together, makes me feel nostalgic, reminds me of being a little girl growing up.

I especially love the song Scarborough Fair. :)

  20. That might make more sense, given the baffled expression on Paul's face, and then he just continued singing unfettered, as I recall.
