protected from death

i was laying in bred one night and i was thinkin about being in iraq 9 imma be a MARINE soon) and i was telling myslef...ill be ready to die should it happen...and i went into a trance like state...i heard a very un-natural noise and a amazing fractal image appeard...and then deaset dunes....and a deep voice told me that i might be ready for death but death was not ready for me...this realy freaked me out.... opinions ny one?

 

How sad that somebody would be willing to die for the Iraq war.

im havent joined to fight in the war...i've joined so i could give me and my fiance a decent chance at raising a family....she has no college aspirations and i dont eathir. shes 19 and im 18. we want a kid soon. and just because im going to be in the Marines dosent mean im automaticly going to be sent over there right away. It all depends on whats need over there. when i do end up there i will kill people. to protect my life the lives of my buddies, and other peoples lives.

 

Marines are gauranteed combat.

Yeah, I'm in the Canadian Reserves. I work in the administration building one day a month. I also had to complete basic training (1 month in the middle of nowhere. Think military movies) its a great career, but for me its just extra money outside my regular job.

 

At least I'm not a 21 year old who thinks he's all growed up.

I agree NP what a reason to become a paid killer, because you want to have a kid, but you have no other options...says a lot for the original motivation.

 

Can anyone spell w h o r e...that's what you did. You sold your free choice. That's the world you want to bring a child into?

 

You have a very strong opinion on the military. But if we didn't have a military you'd be dead/captured/raped and many other things. Don't go giving me "if nobody had military" because thats like saying the world would be better if humans could not feel sadness. Its not going to happen. The millitary is needed, and I'm glad other people are off fighting insted of me. Its a job that needs to be done (although the Iraq war is pathetic)
