Hello! I went and checked my plants in the bush on the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised on how well they were doing. There is still about 6 weeks left in the growing season and I could tell that they will be ready before that so pretty soon I will be smoking like a king. I ran into a buddy the other day and he told me his plants were doing great and he figures it is because he started oxygenating his water – he puts his water in a bucked and stirs it really well. It makes sense to me that oxygenated water would be good for plants but the guy is a practical joker so maybe he is just pulling my leg. Cheers!
I've heard of people doing this actually. But I cannot ever get a clear cut answer on whether it does make a difference or not. It seems that the people that are for doing it, are VERY for it.. and the people who are against it, think it's a waste of time. I have also heard people say you should give your plants some mineral water every once in awhile, or even spray their fan leaves with a selzter/water combo. I've never tried any of it, but I am thinking I might try it on one of my plants next crop.
Man, it seems like BC is just having an awesome year for growing this year... I knew people who, by JUNE, had cropped off their outdoor crops. And the people who haven't yet, well, their plants are HUGE... tall and bushy and just covered in bud, just about ready... and the people that are waiting until September/October are going to have ridiculous amounts of pot from just a few plants. What's with it this year? Must've been the weather we've had over here all Summer. I had some outdoor the other day that, if I hadn't known better, I would've sworn was indoor. Hope ours turns out that good.
Stirring well it would help in the oxygenating but not to the extend an air stone would in a dwc (for example).
Hello! I think I am going to try an experiment next year and water a few plants with oxygenated water and a few with just water. I think I will use that air stone method and air pump though. Cheers! PS: What does dwc stand for?
Deep Water Culture. Do a search for "Aqua farm" or "Hydro farm" there are some plans out there to build a pretty simple hydro-system.
