it was invented in 1999 by 3 american bi-rights activists. it's gotten popular very quickly because up until that time there was very little recognition of bisexuality as something apart from homosexuality.

 

What about straight pride day? When's that?

 

pride day is for people who are still battling prejudice in society, as being straight is considered more or less normal, I['m not sure what you would do with it, but why don't you set one up?
