strongest tryptamine experience of my life

well, i've experienced stronger trips from salvia, but far more brief...

last night i used the last of my DPT i got from quite some time ago, almost expecting it to be inactive by now due to improper storage. i forget the exact dosage, but i remember one capsule being one dose, iirc roughly 20mg-25mg.

i took two capsules, but (this is embarassing) in an attempt for a stronger effect and to try and sidestep the incredible discomfort of insufflated DPT, i mixed it into a small quantity of water and took it as an enema. needless to say it was still a bit uncomfortable, and it indeed did still sting while being absorbed by the body for a few minutes, but it was far less uncomfortable than insufflating even one of those capsules!

anyway, that was the first time i'd taken a drug in that manner, and its somewhat interesting, even if initially an uncomfortable means of ingestion.

after about 3 or 4 minutes i began a rocket blastoff into an INTENSE trip that lasted only maybe 2 or 3 hours at most. at about 10-15 minutes i was somewhat disoriented, and growing VERY warm and sweaty. i panicked slightly, as i haven't tripped much in the past year at all, let alone with something so powerful as DPT.

around the 20-30 minute mark i laid down in bed in the dark and witnessed intense oevs and cevs (by my standards, i have a hard time achieving either, usually) but unfortunately the dosage wasn't QUITE enough to "break through" to a fully different realm...the visions rarely went beyond beautiful kaleidoscopic patterning and shifting lights and colors. my mindset was out of this world. later i went to the bathroom, the only room without windows to leak in light from outside, and closed the door and sat in the dark. the oevs i got there outshined the cevs in my room...it was incredible...i hit the peak around 45 minutes, when i was in the bathroom. after, i went and laid down for another 30 minutes or so while i came down enough to the point where i was still tripping and buzzing pretty hard, but stable, coherent, and "normal" enough to maintain some level of usual mental functions, more like an average mushroom trip of about 3g or so. this feeling lasted another hour or so, and faded into just being really stoned as i smoked some pot as i came down.

this was an absolutely insane trip, and the strongest experience with tryptamines i've had to date. unfortunately the words i've used come nowhere close to accurately depicting the effects of the drug. for those of you who find visual effects very easy to come by, it may seem unimpressive that i got full blown kaleidoscopic patterning and images...but keep in mind that it takes very powerful drugs or very high doses for me to reach such a state, but that the mental effects i receive are about normal for most people on similar doses.

it really took me by surprise, and the experience lasted a lot longer than i expected (obviously though, all times are estimated, but i dosed around 8:45 or so and was still tripping somewhat around 11:15 at least, though the visuals had since disappeared)

too bad its the last of my DPT, but it was a nice experience for sure. if i ever find a place where i can once again purchase this wonderful substance, i hope to get the freebase oil instead so that i may smoke it, seeing as both insufflation and rectal administration are pretty unpleasant, and i do not wish to try an IM injection. i would also thing the more intense still yet shorter acting effects of smoked DPT would more closely mimick that of DMT, which i've yet to try. though i've been wanting to try my hand at extracting some smokable DMT from plant sources at some point.

DPT=dipropyltryptamine

unscheduled, but it would be easily prosecuted under the federal analogue acts for its impecably similar chemical and psychopharmacological similarities to its schedule I cousin, DMT (dimethyltryptamine, the worlds most profound psychedelic and an endogenous substance found within the human body...now go turn yourself in)

 

In the Daniel Pinchebeck book "Breaking Open the Head" he talks about taking DPT, up the shnozz, and claims that it was a portal to the Devil's spirit realm and that it brought an evil poltergeist from otherwordly dimensions into his dwelling where he tripped. It sounds kind of ridiculous out of context...

 

DPT is way too irritating for me to insufflate ever again...if i were convinced of the safety of it, i'd be interested in IM administration. rectally was the least uncomfortable way i've found to take it, but still pretty uncomfortable. i'd be really keen on finding DPT freebase oil so i could smoke it, or enough DPT to turn it into the freebase on my own....

but alas, i no longer have any sources for RCs
