I just thought that ya'll would like to know what happened in chicago..I also posted this in the music forum because it applies there also... there was this tour bus..that drove over a bridge... they proceeded to dump thier waste as they crossed the bridge over the chicago river (btw there are like grates in these bridges) there was a fairy underneath.. all the people got covered in 70 gallons of human waste... GUESS WHO DID IT DMB can u believe that..i am appauled...they could have waited....yeah i'm sure they didn't know there were people underneath..but that is still wrong..i thought they were enviormentalists....wtf is wrong w/ our world...i also hate how dmb is doing a anti-bush tour..fuck that shit... i have to admit i am not a liberal...but i still belive liberal or not u should never say u hate ur president or anyone else for that fact dmb just lost alot of fans in the chicagoland area today........
we have a right to stand up and speak out against a leader or official, even a president, that we disagree with. thats how change for the better is made. would you prefer our voice be completely taken away?
Yuck. This is why I don't like bands like Dave Mathews or the Grateful Dead, they are imposters, frauds. But they definitely have the right to speak out against the leaders of the country, just as you and I do. And you have the right to speak out against their sucky band.
To the original poster: I don't believe you fully read your aritcle, or the news you read wasn't fully covered. It wasn't as if the band personally supervised the dumping of the waste. The band hired a bus company, that hires a bus driver, the drivers make the decisions while on the road under the name of the company. Now I'm not a DMB fan, and I'm not trying to place blame, I am just trying to give some perspective. Additionally, I know, as well as you, that you and I could choose from these forums a dozen more people than that -that are in the DMB that are prepared to speak their voice about Bush.And b/c these dozen People aren't being recognized, they can be represented, in a minimal way by the bands while on the tour. If the point of your post was to reiterate that you don't like the DMB, Hey, I don't care for there music either, but I respect them. life and love

American media SUCKS ~ I don't beleive it all ~ no matter what the story is ,,,they will twist & turn it to make it "interesting" to the consumer,,, they WANT to get good reactions from people so they TUNE IN to watch ,,,the more people that watch a particular channel etc.. the better advertisers they get,,, hence more money. Media SUCKS! I am sure there was a bus who dumped shit but I think there are more details then they want to unvail . They know DAMN well that if they say " dmb DUMPED WASTE" That all kinds of people/fans will TUNE IN and buy there propaganda.
Why don't you like the Grateful Dead again? Anyways thats just plain gross on DMB's part. I've never been a big fan of them, but I am seeing them on the voteforchange tour cause I like J5 and Ben Harper. They got a pretty nice fine for doin that didnt they?
