after a few weeks of personal drought, i finally got some pot last night. just middies, but nice dense and decent tasting middies with a nice high. an ounce....should last me a while. i have smoked only maybe two blunts this year, and only rolled one of them myself. it had been a long time and i was hanging out with some friends, so i rolled one up. i estimate about 1.75g was in it...maybe more like 1.5g though. didnt bother weighing it. i hadn't rolled in so long, i was afraid i'd mess it up like i used to once in a long while, or like i did when i was first learning to roll them. so i bought a pack of strawberry phillies blunts, in case i ruined one beyond repair on my first attempt. but it came out pretty nicely...almost beautifully i'd have to say! almost perfectly straight, though a bit thin at the foot. the mouthpeice i tamped down with my phone antenna, and then with a ballpoint pen folded in the edge to create a sturdy mouthpeice and a smaller aperture to keep all the pot inside. lit and smoked beautifully, even with people that rarely smoke blunts and don't know to take a bunch of particularly small hits in succession without exhaling rather than just take a big drag on it (often causes runs) wow...it really kicked our asses, too. i hate not smoking much for a while. after work today around 4:30 i hit my vaporizer a few times, and went to my folks' house to do some homework. now its three hours later and i'm still feeling pretty pleasant, with a nice cerebral high... i'm excited to go home tonight and really get blazed...either a few bowls, or i'll roll a blunt. it would be a particularly small blunt, but still a blunt. i mean hell, i did well the first time, so now i have four more shells than i needed.
I wish I could say the same. I visited my hometown the other day with the intent of getting at least 1.5 ounces of something mediocre but only ended up with a back pocket full of some bricked weed that some guy in Walmart's parking lot just gave to me.
that sucks. my stuff isnt great, but definitely acceptable for 125/oz nice, light green, very dense and properly dried, boring but pleasant enough taste to tolerate, moderately seedy, but not overly so, and all immature seeds (not found one yet that looks viable...all small and light colored with a green tint to it), not too many stems, and did i say DENSE? but not apparently compacted, definitely not bricked. i have it in an empty american spirit can because it wont fit in my two altoids tangerine tins. since i'm not selling it, i'm considering putting a peice of citrus peel in with it to help moisten and fluff the buds a little bit, maybe make it smell slightly nicer and raise the moisture level slightly to help it burn a little slower.
i wont roll with cigarillos. if i'm going to roll a blunt, its a blunt. either phillies, white owls, or rarely swishers. swishers are my least favorite, honestly, and i wont use cigarillos for anything. though i occasionally will use golden wraps, but i would consider that more of a joint, really.
man your missing out, it has the smoothness of a gar with not as much leaf, and also IMO is much easier to roll that. also .9 or 1.0 rolls up and will smoke longer than a 1.5 if rolled tightly enough
i like rolling with blunts. easier for me, and more enjoyable to smoke. i also like phillies for the flavors, and the cigarillos aren't flavored quite the same. if i am rolling with less pot, i cut the shell slimmer or shorter, but i hate rolling with cigarillos.
Swisher sweets make the worst blunts ever, but they were all the 7-11 near my dorms freshman year of college sold, so I have had to use them many times, sadly. I will take a joint over a blunt any day of the week, but when I do smoke blunts, I definitely prefer Phillies and never use blunt wraps. I don't even know how anyone can roll a nice looking blunt with a wrap. Cigars are so much easier because it is already in the perfect shape!
That is nothing but the truth. I've been thinking about purchasing a glass blunt, though. A compromise!
^I have to admit, i have been intrigued by those. But considering i alread have 6 bowls, 2 bongs, a vape, 2 bubblers and a shit load of little metal pipe. A new pipe is the last thing i need
I'm probably not going to get one because I seldom smoke enough weed needed to use one properly. My glass pipes have been getting murdered lately. First, my girlfriend broke one out of rage, and then I bought a new one and broke it about a week later. My paraphenalia collection is getting too large also, so I don't really care about not having one, but I wish I had my $25 back and not a pile of glass shards.
yeah dude. Well, im about to get a custom three chamber 24" bong from kind creations. Cause i thought i broke my 200 dollar one, so my mom offereed to replace it, so i figure ill chip in a bit and buy a sick one. But then i glued my bong back together today and it still works.
You must have really cool parents. I wish mine would have bought me bongs when I was sixteen, but I don't think they would do something like that unless some guy at their church told them to.
I'm going to have to try that sometime. Come to think of it, though, when I lived with my parents, they probably did pay for most of my weed stuff without knowing it.
