Taken from "The Wiz" "If I Only Had A Heart"

    When actions they unsettle
A man should be on his mettle
When the world has fell apart......

    Just because their assumin
That I might be kinda human
If I only had a heart

I'd be defender, but be gentle
    Not so tempramental
    About deals I impart ......

    Not empower all the crazies
    Or our soldiers pushing Daisies
If I only had a heart

    They see, my travesty
That sets their blood a boil

    When Free's a casualty
    For oil men
    It's about the oil

    Well Duh

In truth it is quite simple
    I know not a participle
In fact I’m not to smart......

    But it wouldn’t really matter
    And make my country gladder
If I only had a heart

    The country would be jellin
    Not slipping to Orwellian
    Like suppliers of Wal-Mart......

    We’d be sitting pretty
    Like that Sunday cartoon kitty
If I only had a heart

I like your originals better. But it's not bad. :)
