Hello there everyone! I was wondering about the effects of both wormwood and Thujoin. I never got a solid answer for the sources that I have read from, but some people describe the effects (ohter than the alcohol in absinthe) are similar to canabis? Please tell me more about this interesting drink!
thujone on it's own has no effect... it was once theorized to be the active compound, but it is now known that it is not. wormwood, and wormwood extract feel nothing like absinthe, the reason they are in absinthe is because the active compound in wormwood effects the brain in the opposite way of alcohol, so you can get really drunk but stay clear headed in certain ways. wormwood extract can be bought from mjb-botanicals.com it tastes like shit but works well, especially when mixed with kanna or marijuana.
