I need assistance with my problem in the images. This plant is 26
days old. The bottom leaves are dying. On day 16 the bottom leaves began to lighten and turn yellow. On day 20 I fertilized with tomato food
(N-21/P-19/K-19/Mg-0.5) at 1/2 tsp per gallon of water. This did
not improve the situation, it only made the new leaves a darker
green. The bulb is a full spectrum flourescent with 1400 lumens
output. The soil mixture is 3 parts peat moss/3 parts local
compost/1 part perlite). Watering is at proper intervals. Thanks
    for your help.

I can't see the picture, but I noticed that you said that you used peat moss. Peat moss is very acidic, and the low pH might have messed with nute uptake. Hard to say without a picture, though.

I dont think there is any need to fertilize since your soil seems good and its to early to do so anyways. Ummmm i dont really know whats going on, sometimes its normal for the leaves to turn yellow but thats only during flowering. Dont mess with it and see how it plays out.

This is a hard one to figure out. It doesn't sound like you're doing anyhting terribly wrong but the pics are just a little disturbing. It looks like the 2nd row from the bottom is getting a little distressed, the first row being goners. Be sure you have good drainage at the bottom of your pot, but I don't think that's the problem. If you have some extra time on your hands there's a great diagnostic set of pics buried somewhere on the ICG mag site by some chic who really knows her shit. I had it bookmarked but then the virus hit and I lost everythin. Hope you get somebody who can give a better answer, and it would be nice to keep us updated on how your baby makes out. And go light on any ferts.

That looks like a phosphorus deficiency to me. It may be due to pH.

Let the soil dry out then give it a good flushing with pH adjusted water (distilled/bottled). A pH of ~ 6.5 or in that area is fine for soil.

BTW what brand of fertilizer are you using?

MiracleGro tomato food. The nutrient listing seemed to have everything. I chose this because it is easily available. I failed to mention I added about 1/2 tsp of hydrated lime to my 7 cups of soil mixture because I heard it is supposed to help with acidic soil conditions. I suspect my tap water may be an issue because it tastes like dirt and leaves pink stains on the fixtures. I will test a different water source and report next week.

OK, so what IS the ph? Weed will grow well down to maybe 5.5, getting over 6.5 or 7 can cause some problems. Being out of the correct range can cause all sorts of problems like nutes getting bound up, Magnesium deficiencies, aluminum uptake and all kinds of nasty shit you don't want to know about. I like bud saying to flush it with good water

im with budbill on this flush it, hit it with dolomite lime (as you did) and up that liquid fertilizer to around 1tsp per gallon, then pH adjust......pH is THE most important factor of cultivation IMO.
