if your talking in like area for a decent grow you need to make a fruiting chamber out of something like a rubbermaid tub. all depends on how many shrooms you want...x x x
not if you fruit in vitro, then you only need the jar the cake was sterilized and colonized in. the mushrooms will look gnarly and you'll get a decreased wet weight, but the dry weight and potency are pretty much the same. you'll also have verm all over the mushrooms, but they are still great for mushroom tea.
