    ahhhh! here are my dreadies at one month. i have bleached my hair for the first time in my life. i am a crazy blonde!

    thanks! i'm really happy with how they're coming. since backcombing, i haven't really done anything to them. a lot fell out, but i'm just letting them do their thing. the ones i've left alone most have done the best. so i figure my hair knows better than i do.

    i love having dreads so much. it's like a living organism on my head!

    i backcombed them a month ago, but haven't done anything to them since but bleach and wash on occasion. :)

    Look great! Love blonde dreadies and the bleach helps dry them out too! As you prob know conditioner is a no no but once your dreadies are mature (say 6 months) you can roll your dreads with pure coconut oil!

    coconut oil, you say? what does that do for your hair? right now, i am enjoying just letting the atlantic ocean work its magic on my locks. ;)

    I guess it just conditions it a bit without making your dreads fall apart - also smells great!
