i dont give a fuck what you say, Between the Buried and Me is the best metal band out there. every album progresses more and more and they are some of the most musically talented people i have ever heard play. i dont know what genere i would put them in, maybe death/progressive/jazz metal. they are sick and if you want to check them out go to their website and listen to Mordecai. Listen to it all the way through. Its beautiful and makes you want to rip off faces at the same time.

No doubt, one of the best metalcore bands ever.
One of my best concert experiences, is being at the cd release show for their first album. Tommy's parents were standing behind me haha.
It really makes me sad to see such garbage as Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage getting mainstream exposure for metalcore, and BTBAM remains relatively ignored. Paul Waggoner is by far one of the most underrated guitarists around these days.

Yeah, I've listened around 15 times all the way through.
Plenty of moments where you think, "what the fuck? that's not supposed to go there."

    haah yeah really,

They really stretched the limits on this, and its amazing. Just as i expected it to be.

White walls is probably my favorite song on it, or ants of the sky

I'm not yet able to pick a clear favorite, but I would say White Walls is probably the best track.
    I like the opener myself.
They said it's meant to be listened to all the way through, like one song split up into eight tracks.
