Mmkay so I was on limewire, downloaded T-Bone Walker's Stormy Monday Blues. Only, it wasn't Stormy Monday. Mislabeled I guess. It turned out to be a whole different song. An AMAZING slow blues tune with great harmonica parts. The problem now is I have no idea what the song is. I don't think it's T-Bone Walker. It might be, I looked up more lyrics of his and none fit these. Another problem is I enjoy covering this song and may want to record it. And regularly perform it. But who is it? Does anyone recognize these lyrics? It's something like this: Like I said, it's a slow blues and if anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it. Seems like everybody In the world is down on me. Seems like everybody In the world us down on me. You know, I ain't no bad fellow I don't intend to be. I used to have someone to love me But that someone passed away I used to have someone to love me But that someone passed away. I believe if my mother was living I wouldn't have to feel this way. The blues, they start rolling And they start in my front door Sometimes the blues start rolling And they start in my front door. Don't you know, because me and my woman Just can't get along no more. My life has been Just like a rolling stone My life has been Just like a rolling stone. Until I find someone that loves me, I guess I'll just keep moving along. Someday, someday I'm gonna be six feet in my grave Someday, someday, someday I'm gonna be six feet in my grave. There'll be no more worries And I won't have to feel this way. That's the first one, such a poignant touching lament. The next one was featured in the movie Hendrix, with a young Jimi performing at a club. All I can remember there is "I'm so glad my baby's back at home" and something like "she's mine all mine". If you can help it's very much appreciated.
i cant find it either, sorry. i thought, harmonica, bob dylan has a song called like rolling stone. but this isnt the one. Well good luck with searching anyway
Try downloading MusicBrainz; it uses a hash of the file (I think, some method that doesn't rely on tags) to properly rename your mp3s. http://musicbrainz.org/ oh, and be sure to post who it is, it sounds awesome, I'd sure like a copy!
