Seeking friend in NYC to go to Penn Gathering 8/12 - 8/19

Rainbow Family Gathering, Ocala National Forest


Hi there! I live in New York City, and I am looking for a friend and companion to share a trip to the Rainbow Family Gathering in the Allegheny National Forest http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/forests/allegheny from Sunday, August 12th through Sunday the 19th. This is near Warren, PA. It's a 350 mile, 6.5 hour road trip from NYC.

I would expect that there will be a permit for this Gathering, so there should be no problems with its legality. Night time temps will be a cool mid 50's to mid 40's.

I have everything we'll need to be clean, comfortable and safe, ranging from a portable shower to a tent heater.

I care just as much about the environment and community building as I do about nurturing relationships. Therefore, I am hoping both of us will return from this Gathering a little more enlightened and inspired by mother earth and each other.
